Hi, everyone. Aaron here for Zollotech and the iPhone1 1 pro and the iPhone 12 pro have a lot of similarities, but there’squite a few differences as well. And so I wanted to help you decide if youshould improve from your iPhone 11 pro or upgrade to an iPhone 11 pro, or if you should skip those and go tothe iPhone 12 pro or updated to it. And so in this video, I’m going to compare everything fromprice to the exhibitions to hasten cameras and more. And the first thing you need to know isthe iPhone 11 pro is no longer available brand-new from Apple. So you can’t getit at theapplestore or apple.com. You can get it refurbishedor from authorized retailers, such as your phone carrieror electronic storages. And the price of the phones is about ahundred dollars cheaper from the iPhone 11 pro to the 12 pro. They usuallyreduce the rate each year. So the iPhone 11 pro iseight 99 to 1199 and comes in 64, 256 or 512 gigabytevariants with the iPhone 12 pro it starts at nine 99 and goes to 1,299. It beginning at 128 gigabytes of storage. Then also has two 56 or 512 gigabyte alternatives as well. Now, as far as the overall colorings, well, the iPhone 11 pro had this new colorwhen it was released the midnight green color. There’s also silver opening, gray and golden with the iPhone 12 pro, they went rid of midnight green, and now we have Pacific blue. And thenagain, we also have gold graphite, which is comparable to space, grey-headed, but different, and also silver. Both of them are madeout of stainless steel. So they’re both similarly sort ofstrong same in weight. In fact, they’re incredibly close in weight. The overall force of thephones is about one gram off. So 6.6, three ounces with theiPhone 11 pro or 188 grams, 6.66 ounces for the iPhone1 2 pro or 189 grams. Like I said, they’re bothmade of stainless steel. They have stainless steelrims on the outside, and they’re both sort of fingerprintmagnets, the iPhone 12 pro.You can see how many fingerprints thathas on it exactly from expending it at the beginning of this video. Sothey’re both fingerprint magnets, but the iPhone 12 pro is squared offnow where the iPhone 11 pro retains the rounded determine that Apple’shad for quite some time. Now they have same frames.Like I said, stainless steel. We have our powersleep-wake buttons on both, but on the iPhone 12 pro wehave a spot for the 5g antenna, which we’ll talk more about5g a little bit later. And then on the iPhone 11 pro below my digit there, you can see there’s a SIM card tray. So on the iPhone 12 pro they movedthe SIM card tray to the other side. So if we take a look at theleft-hand side of the phones, you can see that there’s thesilent button, the work buttons. And then on the iPhone 12 pro wehave a SIM card tray on the top. They’re fairly similar. You simply haveantenna lines. And then on the bottom, again, they’re similaras well. We have our, and our microphone as well as a lightningport on the iPhone 11 pro it’s a little off-center though. So as you cansee, they sort of moved it a little bit. It’s now symmetrical from theedges on the iPhone 12 pro. Now with the iPhone 12 proit is a little bit taller, even though it’s squaredoff, it’s slightly taller. That gives you the largerdisplay on the front, which we’ll talk more about in alittle bit, but you’ll see that the, the high levels of the iPhone 12, pro’s a little bit taller. It’s about the same width. If we take a look at that. So certainly the same when it comes to with, but the altitude is a little bitdifferent. Now on the back of the phones, you have glass as well as onthe front, but on the back, you have a frosted glass and then aroundthe camera, you have regular glass. So it has a really nice finish onthe back of the phones on the front. If we unlock both, you’ll insure we’vegot glass on the figurehead, of course, but on the iPhone 12 proit’s the new ceramic shield. It’s four times less likely to breakin the event that you quit your phone. However, it’s not less scratch resistant. So I would suggest a screen protectorunless adolescent scratches don’t bother you. You’ll examine, I have a screenprotector on the iPhone, 11 pro I’ll probably put oneon the 12 pro eventually. Now the displays on bothphones are quite good. The iPhone 11 pro has a 5.8 inch, 2,436 by 1,125 decide with 458 pixels per inchon the iPhone 12 pro. We now have a 6.1 inch exhibition sinceit’s propagandized to the outside rims. And it’s 2,532 by 1,170 with 460 pixels per inch. Now, the nice thing is they’rebasically the same after that. They both brace true-life sound, wide colouring P3they have thesame 800 nits of brightness. If I turn it all the wayup, they’re very bright. And if you’re watching HDR video, which they both can do you have a peakbrightness of 1200 nits of brightness. So they’re very similar that waythey both have great viewing directions, both look pretty good. And I don’t really think you’re going tonotice a difference between the two of them. Now at the top, of course, we have a notch with face ID and faceID seems similarly or evenly fast on both. We’ll unlock one more timeand you’ll receive they’re very fast. I don’t think you’re going to have anyissues with that. Now, inside the phones, the iPhone 11 pro has the A13bionic CPU with four gigabytes of Ram and the next gen neural instrument, or mostly the second gen Neural enginewith the iPhone 12 pro “were having” the A14 bionic, but with six gigabytes of Ramand a third generation Neural engine. So it should be a little bit faster, better at certain groups of undertakings. Now let’s go ahead and maybe experiment outa marry apps we’ll go into, well, let’s go into overcast. I haven’topened that in a while on either, and you’ll consider we’re openingit for the first time. There let’s go into the residence app andyou’ll see it takes a second on the older maneuver, which is only ayear old-fashioned, but it’s pretty fast. We’ll open the cameras and thattime the 11 pro was faster. So it actually merely dependson what you’re doing. You’re not going to seetoo much of an issue there. If we go into the photos app, we’llgo into one of the photos I developed. We’ll go to edit andwe’ll have it auto adjust, and let’s see if there’s any differencein acceleration auto. They’re both done. So it’s basically the same. Everything is very close when itcomes to regular enterprises. Nonetheless, it may be a little bit differentwhen you’re editing video. So let’s do a immediate assessment with 4kvideo and see how fast it exports. Now let’s go ahead and open I movie. And I have a 4k 10 chip HDR videothat I recorded exploiting the iPhone 12 pro it’s my iPhone 12 pro review. So what I did was add a name to it.So it has to rerender everything, but you’ll see it’s the same video. It’s 12 hours and seven seconds long, and it should be pretty intense for theprocessors to actually process this and export them. So you’ll identify, 12 instants, seven seconds. Let me put these down. Slidethe video over a little bit, get some delightful shots here.Let’s see what we’ve got. And there “theres going”. Sowe’ve got the same store. Let’s go ahead and slip these over. And then what we’ll do is bring in astopwatch and be seen to what extent long it takes to export these. So let’sgo ahead and thumped done. So we’ll go ahead and made shareon either of these slip up, we’ll say video and smacked start, and let’s see what happens now andsee how long they make domestic exports.[ Inaudible ]. You can see the iPhone 11 prowas almost as fast as the 12 pro, but then led out of space at the endto finish exporting it, but either way, it’s incredible that they’re able toexport either of those folders under 12 minutes. So that’s something that even a Mac prowould have a hard time make with a 4k 10 part HDR file. Now, as far asthe back of the phones, well, they’re both quite warm. I would say the iPhone 12 pro is alittle bit hotter from exporting, but either way, they’re going to get warm, doing something intensive and bothexport it at amazingly fast. Now both of them have threeseparate 12 megapixel cameras, they’re ultra wide, wide and telephoto. However, on the newer iPhone, 12 pro they’ve deepened the aperture alittle bit with the regular wide tilt lens to 1.6 from 1.8, that generates it a little bit more lightability to get better dark photos. And you get night mode on all ofthe cameras on the iPhone 12 pro. So the things the iPhone 12 progains over the iPhone 11 pro is that wider hole. You also get Apple pro RAW coming alittle bit later night mode on all of the cameras, including the forward facingcamera, as well as night procedure sketches, smart-alecky HDR, three for photos nightmode time-lapse. And then again, that 4k 60 Dolby visionHDR recording ability. You also have this LIDAR sensor in theback and what it helps with where reference is makes photos is helps with depthat sending out light-headed, assessing how fast it comes back togive degree of the overall topic you’re trying to movie, or you’re tryingto record or take a photo of. And it is therefore manipulates really well for that. It also works foraugmented world as well. And I evidenced this in myiPhone 12 Provat review video, but it’s really great for auto-focusand doing things at night with autofocus because that’s hard to dowithout some sort of depth map. Now, as far as the cameras, let’s go ahead and take a look at someof the photos and videos I took from both the front facing and rear cam.[ Inaudible ]. This is the forward facing camera onthe iPhone 11 pro and the iPhone 12 pro, and the cameras should beidentical between the two of them, but there is a differentneural locomotive processing, all the data in the backgroundbetween the 12 and the 11. Also the microphones maybe a little bit different. So here’s the microphoneon the iPhone 11 probe. Here’s the microphoneon the iPhone, 12 pro. And let me know which one you thinksounds the best in the comments below No battery life on bothis a little bit different. The iPhone 11 pro has a 3040 6million influence artillery where the iPhone 12 pro has a 2,815 million strength battery. That’s a little bitsmaller. According to Apple, they say that the iPhone 11 pro getsone hour less of video playback than the iPhone 12 pro. I is my finding that overall battery life of theiPhone 12 pro is around six hours or five and a half to six hours withthe iPhone 11 pro six to seven hours, depending on what you’re doing. So it actually makes a littlebit of a difference there, but you do have fast accusing onboth 50% in 30 hours with a regular fast charger, and then theiPhone 12 pro increases mag safe.So you have the mag safewireless connector. Now, technically you can use this MagSafeconnector with the iPhone 11 pro, but it doesn’t bill at the1 5 watt max billing proportion. So it adheres magnetically. It deems the phone and it allows youto use the phone while connected to a wireless charger. So it’s just anice little option. Like I said, you can use it with an 11 pro, butit doesn’t really hold to the back. It will only wireless chargeit. Now one big advantage. The iPhone 12 pro does overthe 11 pro this year is 5g. And that’s a big advantage fora couple of different reasonableness. One is faster speed. You’ve got millimeter waving in the UnitedStates with this little antenna now, but you too have Qualcomm modemsand that usually leads to better connectivity or celebration. At least inmy tests, I have less dropped asks. I have it have decent signal strong. Although the bars don’tnecessarily mean a whole lot. I have good signalstrength and good velocity. I’m seeing about doubled the hurrying whenusing regular undertakings or downloading as I am with regular4g on the older phone. So let me show you that I’ll go to speedtest and you can see I’m at 84 megabits per second is what I topped out at therewith download I’m indoors in a brick structure. So I’m getting about1 2 megabits per second up, and I get about half of thatwith 4g in the same location. So is not simply are therespeed inconsistencies with 5g, there’s also that Qualcomm modem advantagewhere Apple finally made a deal with them to use their modems andthey apparently are a bit better. So you do have that advantage. So if you were on an earlier telephone thatdidn’t have Intel modems from say the iPhone 10 on, well, you’ll have the same sort of goodconnectivity you would with say an iPhone seven, and even better thanthat with an iPhone 12, because you have 5g andthe faster rapidities. Now, both telephones have IP ratings of IP 68, but the iPhone 11 pro can survivefor meters up to 30 instants in sea or in liquid. And the iPhone 12 pro is IP eightcertified six rhythms up to 30 instants. So it gains a couple of meters. It has better ceiling and should bebetter overall. Now, keep in mind, Apple does not cover water damage. You’ll still have to pay a deductible. If you have Apple care or you’llhave to pay for your phone, if you don’t and they won’t cover that, but it should stand sort of dustand water, as far as that moves. Now, which one should you pickup for your use? Well, if you don’t have an 11 pro previously andyou can get a great deal on it and the features of the iPhone1 2 don’t matter too much.Well then certainly pick up an 11 proif you can get a great deal. However, if you don’t have any dealsor any thing available, I would go for the iPhone 12 pro, precisely because it’s the newer phone. It will also probably get one additionalyear of support five years from now or so, simply based on whatApple has done in the past, although they haven’t commented onthat, but this is the newer phone. It has the newer technology, thebetter Qualcomm modem in it, 5g, the very best cameras. And they’re bothgreat. But if you had the option, I would pick up the 12, unless you hadan amazing deal on the 11. Now that said, if you have an 11 pro I probably wouldn’tupgrade to the 12 pro unless you have to have the additionalfeatures such as 4k HDR, video recording night mode in the specific characteristics. I wouldn’t improve for 5g as that’s goingto take a few years to actually roll out to its fastest hasten potential.Itwill be awhile before we be understood that. So I would say if you’re on an olderphone, unquestionably upgrade to the 12 pro. If you’re on an 11 pro, I wouldstick with what you have and wait, maybe for next year’s phone.Either one is good though. I think you’ll be happy with either one, but let me know if you’re picking oneup and which complexion and things you’re getting in the comments below, hopefully that allows you decide whichone is best for you and which one to pick up and let me know if you’re going topick one up or what you’re sticking with in the comments below. If you’d like to get your handson the wallpaper in this video, of course I’ll link in thedescription like I normally do. And if you haven’t subscribedalready, satisfy agree. And if you enjoyed the video, being given it a like, as ever. Thanks for watching. This isAaron. I’ll told you next time ..
