– Yo, “its time”, thisis the iPhone 12 Mini and the big-hearted son, iPhone 12 Pro Max. I’ve got a chance to waste about a week in two completely different worlds. On one entrust, you haveeverything that is great about the iPhone 12 in acompact, tiny flesh influence that, spoiler alarm, I kind of really like, and you have a 6.7 inch demon of a phone with a new camera organization, a new telephoto lens, and as I kind of breakdown my final reviews in a more in-depth video, just wanted to share what I thought so far and while we’re at it, shoot this on the 12 Pro Max the front-facing camera on the 12 Mini. Now, this is being recordedin Dolby Vision HDR, however, if you’re watchingthis here on YouTube, you’re watching it in SDR, and if you’re thinking, well, what is the point, don’t worry, I got you.Down below I declined alink to the source file so you can see exactly whatthis looks like on your invention if you’re in on iPhonewith an OLED display you should realize a big difference but the cool thing is, ifyou’re on iOS 14.1 or later on, an iPhone 8 or later, you shouldstill participate a big difference compared to what you’rewatching now on YouTube. Now, real quickly, to geta duet quick-witted questions out the room that a lot of you may have and may be wondering, yes, ifyou’ve been looking forward to a flagship sort iPhone in a compact, one-handable form factor, the 12 Mini is it.You get everything thatis awesome about the 12, the same camera, the same OLED display, the same A1 4 Bionicchip, except it is compressed in a much smaller body, approximately the size of an iPhone 8 except you get a 5.4 inch expose that is the most pixel-denseout of all the 12 s. On the other hand, the iPhone 12 Pro Max. My goodness, it is a BAP. So if you like large-hearted phones, thishas you written all over it but if you don’t, it mightbe a little excessive.- I cherish every telephone except the Max because I wear scrawny jeans, and that big-ass phone don’t appear good whenit’s in my front pocket, you know what I’m saying? – So let me know if you’reteam big-hearted phone or not. I actually got a chance to sitdown with GaTa, from “Dave”, and if you’ve watched “Dave”, fist jolt. If you haven’t, satisfy watch it is now time. We got a chance to sit down and talk about the iPhone1 2, AppleWatch series 6, man, mental health issues, and I’ll drop a link to that down below. So in terms of being mildlyexcessive in terms of size, the camera system so far on a 12 Pro Max has not frustrated. I will break it down behavior morein depth in my full remember so obviously make sureto subscribe for that, but the Cliff Notes version of that is with the wide-angle lens, you’re getting a much bigger sensor, there is better stabilization, and as far as the telephotolens, a.k.a.That third camera you don’t get on a 12, there is now a 65 mm focal lengthequivalent opposed to the 52 we are normally used to. Before I dive into thatmyself, I am a video moron, so I was actually curious to check that out. Gotta say, it did not baffle. The first thing that Inoticed is the extra depth that you get because of that bigger sensor which translates to thesebeautiful, beautiful tonal bullets. I realise a lot of peopleare going to Comic Book Guy the 10 -bit Dolby VisionHDR footage on these telephones but I gotta say, the moreand more I mess with it the more excited I am. Again, the video thatyou’re watching right now is pointed in SDR, andI’m sure we’ve all interpret our gala sure of these clips really blown the heck out, all over the internet. The coolest portion hereis yes, this was shot and captured in Dolby Vision HDR but because of thedepth, the dynamic range, the latitude that you retain, the opennes you have is bananas. If you’re in Final Cut Pro and you have an HDRclip in an SDR timeline, the only think you have to do is head over to the exposure tab and then drag the highlights down until things start to look normal. Seconds later, you havea beautiful SDR clip that is also futureproofwith that HDR metadata and if you crave a breakdownof that and how it toils, definitely check out my 12 Pro review. Stabilization has alsobeen really impressive on the Pro Max, but honestly, don’t sleep on the Mini either. This was shot on the 12 Mini, shout out to Ryan and Emma for grabbing this footage, and again, what you’re watching is SDR so I cannot wait to show you this in HDR, that’ll be up on the music channel soon so obviously subscribeso you don’t miss that. Now, spoiler alarm, asmuch as I’ve enjoyed the brand-new camera organisation on the 12 Pro Max which is really, really gone, there’s something aboutthe 12 Mini that is really, certainly seducing. Like, for real, I am supertempted to use the Mini. It’s pact, it’s lightweight, it’s just kind of refreshing when you’re used to using a giant phone.I’m someone who doesn’ttypically use the telephoto lens too often on my phone, but as far as what that gives people on the 12 Pro Max, for example, actually, like I would break it down is you’re getting threedifferent focal periods or three different perspectiveswithout ever moving a paw. It’s a bit baffling, but all four telephones, the Mini, the 12, the 12 Pro, and the 12 Pro Max are the same 13 millimeterultra-wide angle lens. As far as the wide anglelens or the main camera on these telephones, the Mini, the 12, and the 12 Pro share the same 26 millimeter lens, and again, it isn’t until the 12 Pro Max where we get that bigger sensor and more efficient stabilization. So without a doubt, that Portraitlens is going to give you a unique look, especiallybeing at 65 millimeters. I guess for me, though, maybe more so than that lens the only thing that would really hold me from going to the Mini is Lightr.Lightr I think is super underrated. You of course get all those AR helps but as far as the cameras exit, you get night state description shots, better autofocus in low-spirited glowing, and because there ismuch better depth data, you to be all right portraitshots, better cutouts, especially on objects , not parties. Take a look at this picturetaken on the 12 Pro Max and then comparison it against the 11 Pro Max and you are able to receive a couple of things. One is focal section, that’s that 65 millimeterequivalent versus 52 and it is worth noting that you do get lesslight let in on the 65, which is a differentconversation for a different period but more importantly, again yousee that much better cutout. So at the end of this, I was just really sobbing. On one hand, I really do enjoythe camera system on this 12 Pro Max, but there is somuch going for the 12 Mini. Again, I think if it had Lightr, it would be the perfect phone. Either way, these are super fun telephones. If you guys have questionsyou wanna see answered in the more in-depth video, slip specific comments down below. Hopefully you guys enjoyed the video, if you did and you arefeeling like being awesome make sure you guys drop a like. Thank you guys so much for watching, this is Jonathan, and Iwill catch you guys later.( upbeat electronic music ).
