Hi, everyone. Aaron here for Zolllotech and todayApple liberated iOS 14.6 beta one. This was a surprise to all of us sincewe still have 14.5 release candidate. But now this is thefirst beta of iOS 14.6. And this “re coming back” at a very large4. 56 gigabytes. That’s on my iPhone, 12 pro max. I likewise have that installedon the iPhone XR and the iPhone seven. It was just under four gigabytes on theiPhone 7 and a bit over on the iPhone XR. Along with this Apple alsoreleased iPadOS 14.6 beta one. So I have that on the iPad as well, and they secreted macOS BigSur 11.4 beta one yesterday, watchOS 7.5 beta one today, along with tvOS1 4.6 beta one as well. So all of those betas came outtoday and we still have 14.5 we’re waiting for as well. So I think this might be one ofthe first times or only goes. We’ve seen three differentthings extending at the same time.We have a public edition of 14. 4. 2 arelease applicant for handout applicant of 14. 5 and this new beta. Now let’s go ahead and take a look atthe build number and talk about what’s new. So we’ll go to settings thenwe’ll go back, going to see general, then go to about the erect numberis 18 F five zero four six F. And this particular build, like I said, was a bit of a surprise and does havesome changes in it that we can see. Now, the first thing is it has a modem update. So if you’re on an iPhone 12 pro max, perhaps you were having issues. You should have a modem update, and that carries acrossto older designs as well. So you should be seeing a modem updatethere for the modem firmware as well as this new feature in installs. So if wego into settings, we’ll go into settings. You go to general, then you go to softwareupdate. Well, if you’re on a phone, that’s a little bit older or maybe hasa previous explanation on it. You’ll look, here’s my other iPhone 12 pro maxthat’s on iOS 14.5 freeing candidate. This showed up automatically Applesort of dynamically push this. And now when you go to software update, it gives you policy options forthe brand-new beta at the bottom. If “youve had” the beta sketch set, now Apple’s given us this option. All you have to do is tap on it and youcan position it or you don’t have to. So you can go to automatic modernizes, download simply don’t download it at all. And you have that alternative now. So that’s under software updates andthis will be really nice in the future because you’ll be able to jumpright to a liberate applicant. And then too Apple says, you can choose to update to the nextavailable beta or uninstalled the profile to remove your machine from the betaprogram. So that is advisable to much, considerably better, and it should be a little bit easierto get out of the beta program.Maybe they’re making it easier to getoff of maybe a different beta without use a Mac in the future. And basedon certain information in the system, for example, person tweeted on Twitter thatiOS 14.6 seems to introduce a new method of Mac iOS communication whenyou’re in recovery mode and you’re booting up. So there is a potential that thisparticular update has something there, although they’re not making it veryobvious that you can see anyway, too, thanks to my friend, Steve Mosher forhelping me out with some of these, there are the possibility of exposurenotifications showing maybe a diagnosis link. So maybe you lay in the diagnosisand showing notifications, and you might have the ability to senda link. For example, with diagnosis, it’s not clear what that is. It’sjust maybe in the system. Also, there’s something new for home.Although again, you can’t see it, but you may be able toactually listen to an Intercom. So now you can talk through the Intercom. Maybe you’ll be able to listen as well. Although I don’t know ifthere’s regular microphones, maybe they’ll enable that later onwith a dwelling husk update, for example. So I’m not help to ensure that more, but too they lent an updated version inthe Apple wallet for Apple card family. Again, you can’t see this, it’sjust in the code. And then finally, one thing they’ve modernized thatthey talked about already, that we’re still not ensure on anythingis the option for subscriptions in podcasts. If you’re usingthe Apple podcast app, it’s going to have subscription soon. That’s why “were having” our littleaccount in the upper, right? And maybe you’ll be able tosubscribe to your favorite podcasts. So you can go into your podcast, subscribeto that podcast, a different present, patronize that architect, and maybe be able to skip some of theads in there because you’re supporting them. So that looks likeit’s coming up very shortly, but it’s still in the code andwe’re waiting to see it. Now, the only other thing is, some people are seeing the folders berearranged and they’re determine a new enterprise apps folder. So if you haveenterprise relevant apps set, you may see that as well.Thanksto Braden for direct this along, but it just as an enterpriseapps that wasn’t there before, as far as I “re going to tell” now, asfar as any resolved editions, Apple has not mentioned asingle thing in their greenbacks, as far as what’s been fixedin this particular inform, that does not mean they haven’t fixedanything or they aren’t working on anything. But most of the majorissues such as light-green tint, those sorts of things aremostly resolved in iOS 14.5, but it doesn’t mean they haven’t stoppedor have stopped working on them for this update. Hopefully you’re seeing a lack ofgreen tint in your you’re in darknes state, in twilight situations. Hopefullyyou’re not seeing that. Also parties continue toask me about yellow gradation. I personally don’t see this as an issuebecause it’s generally the phone billing being a little bit more collor accurate. When you color counterbalance a showing, it examines a little bit warm or a littlebit yellowish if you’ve ever colouring poised the display. If you compareit next to the iPhone, XR for example, both sets of have genuine tint turned off. They both seem very different becausethey’re different types of exposes, but the iPhone 12 pro max wastouted as having a highly or the most color accurate display. So thatmay not be great for everyone. I do wish they’d add some optionsto maybe convert that a little. If they are unable to do that in the future. Now, anything else there is nothing else. Like I said, as far as any issues theyfixed that they’ve mentionedBluetooth does seem to be fixed on 14.5 with AirPodsswitching, for example, hopefully it doesn’tmess back up with 14.6, but we’ll have to wait and see it’sbeen good for me on 14.5, 14.6, hopefully has even better wifiand Bluetooth connectivityand no matters there. And for some reason, well, this is a different iPhone. So maybe that’s why it’s not paired, butin general it should work much better. So I’ll have to try that out later. This is probably paired tomy other iPhone 12 pro max, since I was using that with these. So I do have the above issues rarely, where I have to repair them though. Sohopefully that’s not an iOS 14.6 fault. Now, as far as iPad iOS 14.6 betaone, the same varies be carried forward. Although, because this is on 14.6, we won’t have the little barthere and software update, but the same styles of changes carryover to this iPad.And in general, I wouldn’t expect anythingdifferent right away. I would expect bigger mutates maybe withbeta two or beta three, for example, accomplishment seems to be okay onthis iPad, given that it’s senility, it’s one of the older supportediPads and accomplishment on the iPhone, for example, seems to be okay as well. I waited to open music for the first time.So let’s see. That was nice and fast. Scrolling seems very fast, especially since it’s stillloading background act. And it actually seems prettygood. This is on an iPhone seven. So in general it should be prettygood based on what I’m seeing here. Even though it is will take a few dates to knowthat for sure on the iPhone 10 are the same thing. Just consuming this a littlebit. Scrolling is nice and fast. Everything is smooth. Now, asfar as the overall marks, let’s go ahead and take a look at that.I passed that on all of these devices. So let’s go over to geek benchand on the iPhone 12 pro max, it tallied 1,590 for single core, 4,061 for multi-core. I don’t thinkI’ve ever run it on this invention, but hopefully these carried forward, but let’s take a look hereand you can see April 22 nd. And the last time was March 26 th. So it tallied significantly betteron this maneuver. So it does, it’s doing a little bit better, but these could have carried over fromsomething else. Let’s take a look here. And that was on an iPhone 11 pro max. So these are the scores for this deviceand they’re kind of combining with others, but let me showyou all the various ones. So you can get an idea if your devicesabout the same now from left to right, I have the iPad air twofollowed by the iPhone seven, then the iPhone XR and then theiPhone 12 pro max. And like I said, this should just give you a general theme. These orchestrates generally will improveover the next few days as it finishes processing in the background.Usually later in the day, it will be much better than it is now.Now as far as the overall battery life, well, we just got this update. So it’s going to take a fewdays to know that for sure. But if we go into the battery, thisshouldn’t have affect artillery health. They’ve not lent the battery state countrecalibration to any other maneuvers in this update, as far as I “re going to tell”. Andyou’ll examine I’m at 100% on the iPhone, 12 pro max, this one has justbeen modernized and had to reset. So hopefully it’ll be good, butwe’ll have to wait a few dates. It is an early beta. I would think thatit will be as good as 14.5, but again, we’ll have to wait and see now, should you install iOS 14.6 beta one? Well, if you know what you’regetting into with betas, then you utterly could. Nonetheless, with iOS 14.5 releasecandidate coming very shortly, I would probably tend tohold off on your main device. If you have a separate devicethat you want to try it out on, maybe a little bit older, thendefinitely go ahead and try it out.But there’s nothing spectacular worthtrying that this for so far with this update. Now, as far as when to expect iOS 14.5 released to the public. Well, according to Apple, it’s coming outvery soon. In fact, on their website, they said it was coming out next weekso we can expect it early next week. It looks like from, from Apple torelease iOS 14.5 to the public. Finally, that imparts a ton offeatures. And of course, I’ll have a video cover-up that as well.So this was a little bit unexpected. I’m glad they liberated it, but I also think this update will comeout around the same sort of time as the brand-new IMAX, the second half of may. And the above reasons I saythat macOS 11.4 beta one, add support for those brand-new IMAX. And it needs to come out by the secondhalf of may when Apple secretes that invention to the public, alongwith the iPads and the Apple TV. So I would expect all of these updatesto come out sometime late, next month, based off that they couldput in an interim revise, but located off what we’reseeing so far in that code, and that seems to meet the most sense. So I’m looking forward to that now, as far as anything else, if I find that, of course I’ll do a follow-upvideo with more features in it, and I’ll do a follow-up of iOS 14.5 liberation campaigner on Sunday as well.Like I ordinarily do. And we’llsee how it’s going for everyone. That’s set that ifyou encountered anything else, they’ll let me know in the comments below. And if you’d like to getyour hands on this wallpaper, I’ll link it in thedescription like I naturally do. If you haven’t subscribedalready though, please agree. And if you experienced the video, being given it a like as ever. Thanks for watching. This isAaron. I’ll told you next time ..
