so it’s 2021 and the iphones cost a magnificent … it’spretty expensive isn’t it? well what if i were to tell you that you could get an iphone for as lowas 50 that offices fully on ios 14 and it’s an overall pretty good phone uh what phone are wetalking about? we’re talking about the iphone se so the iphone se is a genuinely budget phone it costsabout $50 if you’re to buy it on ebay but a lot of parties have questions about it you know isit still good is the iphone se worth it in 2021 does the iphone se have ios 14 and functionfully on ios 14 is it still a reasonable phone to run the latest be talking about the iphone se onios 14 and 2021 so let’s get right into that so the first big influence is cost so my iphone sewhich i bought on ebay exercised payment me about 50 horses and 50 bucks for an iphone is pretty darn good nowsure this isn’t the latest or greatest machine but it does what i needed to do it hassome pretty good gatherings and overall i think it’s a good telephone now dependingon what storage you want you can get iphones straddling from 50 to 100 even 150 dollarsfor the iphone se but that’s for you are familiar with some of the highest representations and if you’re getting a brandnew but for this iphone se located simulate you can get it for 50 horses which is a really good pricebut with that cost there’s obviously going to be some downsides isn’t there well let’s see sothe first thing we need to examine is the design now the iphone sc has a pretty solid design youknow it’s pretty easy to hold it has some you know nice squarish boundaries similar to the iphone 5sand well this is the late 2021 so it’s similar to the iphone 12 as well it’s pretty damned easyto hold as you can see i can you know stretch my paw across all corners of the display andso it’s really good for you know one-handed use and the best part this bugger has a headphonejack yep that’s right it’s got a fully functioning stereo audio headphone jack so that’s a pro nowone of the next most important features of a phone for a lot of beings is well the camera you knowyou carry around your iphone every single day this is what you use snap photos so how arethe photos gonna turn out well for specs the iphone se camera you know it’s not phenomenal butit’s not all that bad it’s got a 12 megapixel back camera with full hdr can take full hdphotographs and in my opinion you can shoot some pretty good photos you know i’m jolly happywith the bokeh consequence i can achieve on close-ups the hdr is overall decent but the one downside isthat low-grade dawn very frankly is turd but hey this thing cost me 50 bucks so can you really complainand of course it’s an iphone so you know it does video very so let’s just take a quick look atsome of the video parts on the iphone sc so recording currently exerting the iphone sc frontcamera and breast camera microphone now this camera is only 1.2 megapixels with an gap of f 2.4 which isn’t all that wide but it’s not that bad so you’re not going to be getting the greatest lowlight photos with this so precisely make sure you have decent illuminate but if you got decent lightingyour photos are going to turn out you know okay it is hd but it’s not the greatest hd but it alsodoes have back camera recording in photos so let’s take a look at some of sound recordings with the backcamera all right so i’m currently recording with the back camera of the iphone se now the backcamera of this phone is pretty decent for such a inexpensive phone actually it’s pretty damned good inmy opinion uh so it does record at 1080 p full hd at 30 and 60 frames per second and it can also do4k at 30 frames per second but i tend to shy away from that because after all this is a budget phoneand so it does have various kinds of a fund sensor now one thing you may be noticing is that this videofootage does gaze probably a little precarious that is because the iphone sc video camera doesnot boast any visual portrait stabilization which is kind of a big oof if you’re trying torecord videos with your telephone now there are lots of options available to stabilize via softwarebut if you really are going to be recording a lot of video footage i do recommend that you buy thenewer phone and another thing you may be noticing is when i refocus and change my exposure itkind of seems creepy it’s not the smoothest thing so that’s another thing you may noticewith this phone but it also does do slow-mo and time-lapse video so with slo-mo it can do 1080 p at120 frames per second and it can also do 720 p at 240 frames per second and it does a standard timelapse which i believe is stabilized via software so let’s just take a quick look at thatsuper slow 240 frames per second slow motion all right so the camera seemed pretty goodit recorded good video footage doesn’t have stabilization you know that’s a downside butit records pretty good selfie camera footage and pretty good back camera footage so now ifyou’re gonna be watching all that footage or you’re watching on the video you know you needto have pretty good voice tone so with the speakers they’re pretty darn roaring let me justplay a speedy voice exam for you right quick yeah they’re roaring i mean they’re not as loudas you know the iphone 12 pro max of course but hey this is a 50 manoeuvre and you’re gonnabe able to hear the speakers quite darn well but they have a downside so the iphone se speakersactually you receive two speaker daughters on the bottom of the manoeuvre but in reality exclusively one speakergrille is actually radiating resonate from a speaker the other one is simply echoing the other speakergrille so essentially you know there’s a loudspeaker in the right side of your telephone and when youplay audio propagandizes that din over into the left side of your telephone and in the left side of thephone yeah there’s a loudspeaker grill right there but it doesn’t actually frisk any audioit simply emanates audio from the right side so you know this phone is quite smallwhat if you happen to hold it like this then you’re covering up the right orator grillewhich means you’re not going to get any good sound from the left or if you get any it’s going to betotally stifled so that is the major downside for the speakers on this thing all right so nowlet’s talk about the processor the core the strength in this device it has an apple a9 chipping withtwo gigabytes of ram and yeah the a9 is you know five years old but i’m gonna be honest wheni test it compared to my daily operator which isn’t the newest phone but it’s an iphone 8 whichis you know compared to this device it’s a lot newer and a lot faster i actually didn’t noticetoo much speed gap when just you know testing opening different apps so let me showyou a speedy quicken analogy between my iphone 8 and my iphone sc opening the same apps just soyou can see how much faster my phone is than the iphone se so let’s evaluation youtube on both devicesand well it looks like the iphone se actually laded faster but that could be because i actuallyhave an account on my 8 and not on my sc now let’s experiment spear made and so let me open them both rightnow and it looks like the 8 is a clear winner this time beat the fc by about a half second finallylet’s test the find my app a structure app so let’s just open it up really quickly and it looks likethe eight one but it was too close to really tell now sure this is right is our opinion that my phone istechnically faster in most cases than the iphone se you know sure there may be a one secondor a half second difference but other than that the uh the se actually acted pretty well andif i were utilize this as my daily operator i wouldn’t mind you know it’s a reasonably fast optimized phonethat runs quite well even on the latest operating system i was 14. And are talking about ios 14 yes theiphone se is still getting informs for ios 14. you can get all the updates you know all the same homescreen customization home screen which is by the way if you’re into that kind of stuff i do havea really good home screen widget video linked up right in the upper right corner in the cars of thisvideo so time taken to ensure that out now gaming smart the sc actually does really well so i was surprisedat this because it doesn’t have you know the most powerful processor and graphics card but inreality i can run sure-fire games like see of duty and play deads inside that usually require a lotof graphics rendition with no lag at all no questions so yeah just take a look at this gameplayright quick as you can see with play deads inside even though it does plainly require a lot ofgraphics operation to render all those shadows and all that fancy illuminate it loads perfectlyfine it’s not laggy at all the game toy smooth and with call of duty a game which is quite highperformance it runs perfectly fine there’s no lag at all now another thing to mention when talkingabout gameplay one thing you want to take a look at is the display quality now the display onthis iphone isn’t all that huge but you know it’s a retina parade so it doesn’t look badbut you know it’s not 120 hertz or anything it’s not a you know 2k screen like we have onsome of the newer flagship phones doesn’t have any of those fancy oled capacities nothing likethat and brightness prudent well let’s just say max brightness on the sc is about two-thirds the maxbrightness on my eight so it’s not that luminous but is it bright enough to see it 100 so that’s justone thing to note now one thing i did notice on the iphone se when recording was when i wasplaying sure-fire graphics intense sports like bawl of duty if i played for a long timethe back would kind of heat up a little bit now it wasn’t too bad it was just a little bit ofwarmth but keep in mind if you’re playing you know high intensity competitions for hours this thing can gethot speaking of heat let’s talk about the battery now the battery on this thing is probably its weakpoint so moderate practice with little to no gaming it’ll surely last-place you the working day youcan listen to music through headphones for a long time and of course with musicit’s obviously aligned with airpods but if you plan on carrying this aroundall day not charging it frisking video games this artillery ain’t gonna last you that long nownot only is this a budget phone but it’s also a tiny iphone and you know the screen is onlyfour inches so how big of a artillery can they fit in there they can’t really fit a large batteryin that phone but on the bright side if you’re just employ this you know to make calls cast textbrowse instagram you know take photos and stuff this thing’s going to last you probably all dayand charging wise it does accuse through lightning apparently but if you want to use a wirelesscharger well the back of this thing’s aluminum and aluminum does not do wireless charging sounfortunately it’s not compatible currently with wireless blaming so overall it’s a pretty goodphone yeah you know the first contemporary iphone se is a pretty good buy in 2021 i would say it’snot the newest telephone you are familiar with like the iphone 12 is but it also expenditures 50 horses and not a grandand you know overall there’s a pretty well built budget phone that’s um well i’d say it’s a prettygood fit for your everyday use all right people i really hope you enjoyed this video if you did thendefinitely do smash that like button and observation below which is your favorite feature of the iphonese and you’re gonna be buying this or saving up for a newer iphone let me know well i hope youhave a great day and i’ll see you in my next video bye-bye me
