– David and David here, let’s talk about what to do when your iPhone won’tcharge the wireless charger. – Just a quick backgroundon Qi, Q-I, Qi Charging, Qi was developed by an International PowerConsortium, AKA, group of geeks, – Well, it is desirable to obvious to even the most dim-witted individual. – who got together and developed this open standard for wireless blaming. If you have a wirelesscharger, 99% of the time, it’s Qi charger. This is a $10 Amazon Qi charger.Qi chargers, like this one, though, are pretty finicky. Although the International Consortium says that they should be able tocharge over four centimeters, at least that’s the length. – Theoretical anyway. – Yeah, there’s no way. – Yeah, sometimes very, one of the reasons why your iPhone might not be wireless accuse is because of a thick-witted iPhone case, which can kind of interruptwith that connection, when you situate it on the pad. Right? So, if you have areally thick case, take it off. – Also, make sure it’s plugged in, right? We’re professionals now, parties. – That’s important. Plug it in. – Boom, plugged in. Iphone, wirelessly blaming. But, with a charger like this, I make, you go now and it’s not working, forget it. I used to wakeup all the time , no charge. – Step two, make sure it’s right in the centerof the billing pad. If it’s off hub, might not accuse, – Right. So, a lot of peopleare probably finding out now, that they need to get case. We can droop a association, in thedescription division below and cart up above, toAmazon where you can buy a Qi compatible case. There’s a lot of good ones out there, specially the Apple actions. They’re excellent. They feel good too. – Another thing to do isjust wipe off your iPhone, wipe off the billing pad. You know, four centimeters. But, even if there’s like athin seam of junk or junks, just wiping that offcan make a difference. -( laughs) Extremely, if ithas been on your nightstand, like this one was, forever. Wipe off your iPhone. – Wipe it off.- Pretty simple. Alsotry, a different cable. So, in this case, the Qi charger is not, even, exercising a lightning cable. It’s a micro USB cable. This is an a Asus charger. What’s great about Qi is that there’s reallyno apple lightning reached for iPhone certificationfor the whole thing. It exactly works. So, I like that. We got on board with auniversal technology. – Yep, try different outletsin the wall too, you know? – Yeah, move to a different mansion. – A different home is good. – So, I want to talk about the MagSafe charger, whichis also a Qi charger, but a finicky one. So according to apple, a MagSafe charger involves, I believe it’s, 12 Watts, at least, in terms of the charger, and it has to be basicallyan apple USB charger. So, you buy this thing, it comes in the box, and you think, okay, I got a great charger, but then you also need aUSB-C power adapter for it. This is an iPhone 12 pro, so it has the MagSafe port in the back. Costs, perfectly. This will also blame older iPhones, but the kicker is that it will charge them slower than other Qi chargers. So, it’s really not thebest hypothesi in the world to use a MagSafe chargeron an elderly iPhone. But, at least, it’s not super magnetic and doesn’t go the whole thing with it.So, what I did is I believe that that myself, when I got this cable, I didn’t have an extra USBCpower brick lying around. So, I fantasized, I’m going toget cute with this thing. I’m just gonna use my aged one. I’m going to on Amazon, I’m going to buy a USBC, USBA, AKA old-school USB adapter, push it in and then use, my old charger, which had more than enough juice. So I push it in , good-for-nothing. – Nothing there. Good-for-nothing doing. I don’t know why you can’tdo it, you just can’t. – Yeah. So, check youradapter’s set up too while you’re at it. Maybe your iPhone is justnot accept at all. Black screen. – That used to happen a lot. – Yeah. Black screen andplace on the charger, it’s not blame, hard reset. – Hard reset. – So, I have an iPhone 10. If you have an iPhone eight or newer. – It’s actually an iPhone1 1 pro, but who’s counting. – Yeah. Whatever, same thing. Loudnes up, loudnes down, pressand hold that side button, until the Apple logoappears on the screen. If you have an iPhone 7, it is the volume down button and the side button. I just let go, that’s fine. And, if you have a iPhone 6s or older, or an iPhone SE, dwelling button, strength button, same term, Apple logo appears on the screen. – Yeah. As soon as the applelogo emerges, you can let go. That was awesome. That was, like, a great deal of teaches in a short amount of hour. We’ve done this before. – Of course, I shouldsay that the iPhone 6S doesn’t have wireless charging, anyway.- Why are we even talking about this? – For relevant information. – That’s alright. We’re just used to it. We’re, basically, windus up and let us go.( cymbaling) – A pile of the time, this problem is caused by a really inexpensive Qi charger that disintegrate. we’ll link to a better one inthe description, down below.( chuckling) Or, you might just need a superpower adapter to, actually, make it happen. – Or more powerful power adapter. So, yeah. This one came with alight that was so bright, I put black videotape over it, and then just like scribbled in with a Sharpie, becauseit was waking me up at night. It was so freaking light. It was not the most wonderful design in the world. I have a personal plea. Okay, only 7 %, which is upfrom four of the people, watch our videos, subscribe to this channel.- Now, please, if you lovelife, delight is committed to our direct.
