– Now that the best from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S2 2 Ultra, has officially launched, how does it compare to the best from Apple in the iPhone 13 Pro Max? What’s up, guys? Saf now on SuperSaf TV, and as we do each year, we’re going to break down all of the key changes sideby line-up SuperSaf Style. So the first thing I would like to speak about is the build and design. Now design is subjective, but I genuinely do like the design of bothdevices, especially the fact that they have this reallynice matte finish on the back. And they’re also particularly premium. We’ve got an aluminumframe for the S22 Ultra. We’ve got a stainless steel frame for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which is more durable. Both devices are IP68water and dust resistant, which is great. However, you are eligible to submergethe iPhone 13 Pro Max in water deeper compared to the S22 Ultra. Now I’m not sure how much of a difference that’s going to make to people, but if you are somebody who likes to make your smartphone for a dive, then you’re probably goingto be a little bit better off with the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now for colorings, the iPhone 13 Pro Max isavailable in four shades. We’ve got golden, a graphite, a silver-tongued as well as the Sierra blue. The S22 Ultra nonetheless isavailable in four basi dyes. So “were having” this phantomblack, a apparition white a burgundy, as well as a light-green, but it’s also available in three additional colorsexclusively from samsung.com.We’ve got a graphite, a sky off-color, which reviews quite similarto the Sierra blue, as well as a cherry-red. So you do get more coloroptions on the S22 Ultra. If you are interested in picking up one of those exclusive shades, I’ll leave a link downin the description below which will likewise give you $50 of ascribe. Right , now in terms of the length, I got to say both ofthese are big-hearted devices. The S22 Ultra is slightly taller. Whereas the iPhone 13 Pro Maxis slightly wider and heavier and we do have some insignificant inconsistencies. On the iPhone 13 ProMax, the edges are bowed but the two sides are flat. Whereas on the S22 Ultra, the edges are a lot more squared off but the sides are more swerved. Now personally, I’m usedto quite sizable phones so I can get on fine with either of these. But if you are comingfrom a smaller phone, these may take some time to get used to. Right , now let’s talk about the exhibitions. These two have excellent huge spectacles: 6.7 inches on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, 6.8 inches on the S22 Ultra. Now both are also exerting AMOLED technology. So we’ve got really nice contrast ratios, deep pitch-blacks and dynamic emblazons, but there are lots of divergences. We’ve got ceramic shieldon the iPhone 13 Pro Max. We’ve got Gorilla GlassVictus Plus on the S22 Ultra. Now I’m not somebody who does put assessments, but in my own experience, bothof these are very durable. The iPhone 13 Pro Max has a flat flaunt whereas the S22 Ultra has acurved display on the two sides. Now, in my opinion, a curveddisplay does look nicer, but in terms of practicality, I do prefer a weary expose. It’s also easier to get screen champions for a flat exhibition comparedto that of a veered parade. And then if we look at the bezels, we do have small-scale bezels on both maneuvers, but we do get a higherscreen to person fraction on the S22 Ultra because we have a punch outfor the front-facing camera. Whereas we have a notchon the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now this notch is 20% smaller compared to what we had on the iPhone 12 Pro Max, but notch versus a punch out, the punch out is just way less obtrusive. The S22 Ultra also hasmany more advantages. So firstly it does havea higher pixel density because of a high resolution. So things will be a tad sharper. And although both deviceshave a 120 hertz freshen pace which concludes things terribly smooth, the S22 Ultra can go all theway down to really one hertz. The iPhone 13 Pro Maxgoes down to 10 hertz. This will determine the S22Ultra display more efficient and it also allows it tohave an always-on display. An always-on display is somethingthat I find super useful. You can see your time and what notificationsyou have at a glance while your machine issitting there on the table. You don’t even have to pick it up. This is something that’sunfortunately not available on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I was genuinely hoping for it this time. The S22 Ultra also has a brighter display with a heyday brightness of 1,750 nits. The iPhone 13 Pro Maxis also a radiant parade but it crests out at around 1200 nits. So if you’re somebody like me who utilizes your smartphone a lot outdoors and too ever wear sunglasses, then you will definitelyprefer the S22 Ultra. And for all of these reasons, I would have to givethe win for the display to the S22 Ultra, although the iPhone 13 Pro Max does have a very nice display. Now, one of the reasonsthat “were having” the notch on the iPhone 13 Pro Max is due in part to face ID.Face ID is a unusually securemethod of facial unlock and it manipulates really fastand genuinely, really well. The S22 Ultra also has face acceptance. Nonetheless, this is only usingthe front-facing camera. It’s not expend any added sensors like the iPhone 13 Pro Max. So it’s something that I don’t use for security reasonableness on the S22 Ultra. However, the S22 Ultra does have an in-display fingerprint scanner. This is the 3D Sonic Gen 2 from Qualcomm. It’s the same one we had last year but it cultivates really, really well. It’s fast. It’s very procure. Now, over the past couple of years, my advantage has been anin-display fingerprint scanner because I’ve had to wearmasks in lots of places. However, Apple has tried to come up with some solutions for this. Firstly, if you have an Apple Watch, you can unlock your iPhonewith your Apple Watch, but with an upcoming update, iPhones will still be able to use face ID even if you have a mask on by recognizing the areaon the top of your face. So realistically speaking, I think this is going to comedown to personal penchant. I feel both are absolutely fine. Now let’s move over onto the cameras.Hey. Oh, this person again. Look, it’s not the best job but somebody’s got to do it. Guys, seem, I’ve beenlooking at the analytics and I’m going to be honest with you, it’s not looking good. It’s not looking good. Around 60% of you guyswatching are not subscribed. So if you’re savour this video so far, maybe consider hittingthat subscribe button and that buzzer icon so you get advised whenwe upload new videos. That’s it, that’s all I’m going to say. Okay, you guys might be getting fed up of ascertaining Side Saf so many times, but he’s really lamented foryou all to subscribe. So if you haven’t already, thenmaybe consider subscribing. There’s going to be batches moreSamsung Galaxy S2 2 Ultra content come through here here on thechannel very, very soon. I’ve been working nonstop to get as much content out there as possible. So yeah, delight do. So cameras. Now I’ve actually done adetailed SuperSaf Style camera similarity between the S22 Ultra and the iPhone 13 Pro Max. It’s around 20 minutes long and I cover pretty much all aspects of the cameras side by side.I’m going to link that videodown in the specific characteristics. So you can go ahead and check that out if you really want to knowwhat the difference is, but to give you a quick summary, we have a very similar cameraset up on both machines. We have an ultra widecamera, a primary camera, as well as a 3X Telephoto camera. The S22 Ultra, however, does get an advantage because you have a Periscope zoom camera which gives you 10 periods visual zoom and can go all the lane up to 100 experiences. The iPhone 13 Pro Maxmaxes out at 15 occasions. Now, in my own experience, when it is necessary to idols, I did lean towards theS2 2 Ultra more thanks to its versatility. And Samsung likewise does a lotof processing on their personas which some people may not like, but I do like the lookof the S22 Ultra likeness. The iPhone 13 Pro Max howeveris still the emperor for video. So if you are somebody who takes a lot of video on your smartphone, the S22 Ultra is good but the iPhone 13 Pro Max is just better. You’ve got excellent dynamic stray, immense auto focus evenin low-toned daybreak situations. Once again, I’m going to link the full item SuperSafStyle camera comparison down in the specific characteristics and in the cards so do go ahead and taken to ensure that out if you really want tosee what the differences between these cameras are. Right , now let’s move onto performance. The iPhone 13 Pro Max is powered by the Apple A1 5 Bionic chip. This has been very smooth. You’ve got six gigabytes ofRAM to go along with that. The S22 Ultra is going tovary depending on your region. In certain regions, you will be getting theQualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and in others, you willbe getting the Exynos 2200 with either eight or 12 gigabytes of RAM. Now it’s come to a pointwhere accomplishment is so good in smartphones thatyou’re literally looking at seconds of difference or sometimes milliseconds of difference. So personally speaking, I don’t think you’regoing to have any issues with either of these. They are both really, really gone and conduct alsocomes down to software. So on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, we do have iOS and wehave Android with One UI on the S22 Ultra. Now you guys know I don’t go into an Android versus iOS debate because a lot of it does comedown to personal predilection. I know beings don’t like it when I use the term personal preference but that is literally the suit. And both iOS and Samsung on One UI are really good with modernizes. You will get updates longer on your iPhone comparedto your Samsung device because the updates comedirectly from Apple. But Samsung has reallybeen maintain up recently. Now a couple of pointsI do have to mention on the software of things is that the S22 Ultra does take advantage of the larger display much more compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max.On the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the icons are very large and there’s really noutilization of that extra space. This is going to look exactly the same as we have on the iPhone 13 Mini. Now I get that’s great for consistency and Apple does like tokeep things consistent, but if you’ve got such a large screen, I want to be able to make the most of it. On the S22 Ultra, I can manufacture the icons smaller, have an extra column, and you also havefeatures like multi opening which will allow you to have two apps open at the same time side by side. I is also of the view that the S22 Ultra is better in accordance with the arrangements of multitasking. One of the specimen I ever demonstrate is whenever I’m uploadinga story to Instagram, on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, if I then move onto a different app, it’s not going to complete uploading that video onto my stories. It’s just going to stopthere in the background. On the S22 Ultra, it’s justgoing to carry on as ordinary and I don’t have to worry about it. On the iPhone 13 Pro Max, I’ve had lots of situations where I’ve kind of comeback a few hours later and that story had not been able to uploaded. Now I feel this is more downto the software compared to the RAM because six gigabytesof RAM is still enough, so I hope Apple canimprove this going forward. Another big advantage that you get on the S22 Ultra is the S Pen. Now this is enclosed within the device and it’s also beenimproved fairly massively with latency down tojust 2.8 milliseconds. It’s down from nine milliseconds that we’ve had on previous manoeuvres and it’s also got lower latency compared to the Apple Pencil on the iPad Pro. Now, I know an S Pen isn’t for everybody, but for somebody like me who revises likeness a lot on my smartphone as well as ratifies documents and things, this is so, so useful.Unfortunately, you can’tget anything equivalent to this on the iPhone. Now for orators, we do havereally good stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos on both inventions. We’ve got one in the earpieceand one freighter firing. And in my own experience, both of these sound really, really good. I don’t think you’regoing to have any issues. My friend Thunder E from Booredatwork has actually done a detailed speaker test. So if you are really interested in the differences of talkers, then I’ll tie-in his video downin the description below. Now one point I do have tomention is the connectors. So the S22 Ultra does havethe more universal USB type-C. The iPhone 13 Pro Max isstill exerting a lightning cable. This is something that Ipersonally find quite disheartening because being an Apple user and in the ecosystem with my MacBook Pro and my iPad Pro, thosedevices use USB type-C. However, if I’m moving, I can’t just take theone charger and cable. I do “re going to have to” likewise take mylightning cable with me for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which is really frustrating. Now I get that there’s lots of accessories that still substantiate lightning and it would be a big change, but lightning was great in its epoch, but it’s definitely outdated now. And I think it’s time that Apple should definitelyupdate their iPhones to have USB type-C for the iPhone 14. However, at this point in time, I’m going to have togive the advantage now to the S22 Ultra. Let’s now talk about the batteries. So we do have quite largebatteries on both sets of. The S22 Ultra does have alarger physical artillery compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, width “doesnt really matter”, I guess it depends on the context, but when it comes to battery sizes, it actually “doesnt really matter” onthe actual size of the artillery because there’s lots of other factors that do come into play. And in my own experience, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is still the champ when it comes to battery life. Now that’s not to say that the S22 Ultra has bad battery life by any means. It’s really good and it gets me through the day absolutely fine, but I would say you do getaround 15% better battery life on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, when it comes to charging, the S22 Ultra does get the advantage. First disclaimer, neither of these come with a charger out of the box. You will have to buy this separately but the maximum charging raced that can get on the iPhone 13 Pro Max is around 20 watts. On the S22 Ultra, you can get up to 45 watts which will give you around 50% charge in 20 minutes compared to a 50% charge in around 30 times onthe iPhone 13 Pro Max.Both machines likewise have supportfor Qi wireless bill. You can get up to 15 wattsof Qi wireless charging on the S22 Ultra. On the iPhone 13 Pro Max, if “youre using” a standard Qi wireless charger you can only get a maximum of 7.5 watts. The only nature you’ll beable to get 15 watts is if you use the proprietaryMagSafe charger. Now don’t get me wrong. I do like MagSafe and it’s great that it merely snarls on and you don’t have to worryabout lining it up on anything. And there’s a entire bunch of supplementaries that too come to theiPhone thanks to MagSafe, but I would’ve liked for the iPhone to be able to support up to 15 watts for Qi wireless accusing, as well as with MagSafe. The S22 Ultra also hasreverse wireless accusing. This is where you can charge other manoeuvres such as earbuds and thingson the back of the S22 Ultra. I’m going to be real with you, this really Idon’t really use too often but it’s a nice to have. Eventually, let’s talk aboutstorage and pricing. So the iPhone 13 Pro Max andthe S22 Ultra are among the same storage discrepancies: 128, 256, 512 gigabytes or a big one terabyte form. Nonetheless, the iPhone 13 Pro Max actually starts at a lower toll comparedto the S22 Ultra. Now, when we do go tothe one terabyte alternative, they’re actually at thesame rate in the US, but the S22 Ultra actually flips and becomes slightlycheaper here in the UK. Too currently under the US, you can actually getthe 256 gigabyte explanation for the price of the 128 gigabyte explanation. And you can get the 512 gigabyte account for the cost of the 256 gigabyte option. So who really puts thedevice is pretty much neck in cervix in terms of price. And you can also get anadditional $ 50 of approval if you use my attach downin the description below. This is an exclusive $50 of approval which you’re not goingto find anywhere else. So based on all of that, you will be paying roughlyabout the same for both manoeuvres. So that is the detailedSuperSaf Style comparison of the Samsung Galaxy S2 2 Ultra versus the iPhone 13 Pro Max. What is your choice and which one would you pick? Unquestionably remove me specific comments below. Let me know your thoughts. In periods of my opinions, I use both Android and iOS and these are currently mygo-to machines on both sides. I think they’re absolutely great and I’d have no problemrecommending either of these.Of track, both have their advantages and handicaps. On the S22 Ultra, you do have the S Pen, youhave a better overall display, faster blame, as well asthe Periscope zoom camera. On the iPhone 13 Pro Max nonetheless, you do get longer software updates, you get better battery life, and you still get the bestvideo on any smartphone. That’s what I ponder anyway. Clearly let me knowwhat you guys conceive. I hope that members can experienced thisvideo and determined it is helpful. If you did, then do smashthat like button for me. And don’t forget, there’s goingto be spates more content coming up now on the canal with the S22 Ultra. If you don’t want to miss it, then do consider subscribing( icon clicking) and sounding( bell ringing) the all notifications button.I’ll likewise leave somerelated videos related now so you can go ahead and check those out. Thanks for watching. This is Saf on SuperSaf TV. I’ll told you next time ..
