If you’ve seen the claim of this video andthought, “man, this guy has run out of projects for videos”, you’re damn right. But I’ve been looking around the house forsomething to make a video about. Anyway, let’s take a look at these telephones. The iPhone 4 was initially released in June2 010 and the iPhone 8 in September 2017, so the latter has over seven years of progress. In terms of design, it’s subjective whetherthe newer phone is actually better. Although the iPhone 4 “havent been” rounded perimeters, it doesn’t look bad for a ten-year-old design. There are only so many ways to improve it. Both telephones have the back made out of glass, and the iPhone 8 has wireless charging, in fact it was the first iPhone to come withthat feature. Thankfully, the iPhone 8 is not twice as bigas the iPhone 4. The 4 has a 3.5 inch spectacle and the 8 hasa 4.7 inch display, but it is a significant difference. And to be honest, I dislike sizable smartphones.I completely lost interest in any brand-new smartphonebecause they are all so damn big. The last-place telephone with a compact sizing and powerfulhardware is the iPhone SE from 2016. In reality, a few months ago( as of making this video in June 2020) they made a new iPhone SE that glances identical to the iPhone 8. This iPhone 8 is not impossible to use, sinceit’s not the “plus” model, but I wish they had retained an iPhone SE-sized sit. When I need a bigger screen I use my computer. No need to get technological about the processor and recall, but we can run a useless mark merely to see a tally on the screen. Both screens have the same technology, they’reliquid-crystal presentations. The iPhone 8 has a higher screen resolution, but it’s also larger, of course, and after estimates the pixel concentration is exactlythe same. People say that this pixel density is toolow these days, but although engineering has improved, our eyes have not.If you don’t look super close while comparingwith phone calls with higher pixel density, you are able to never notice the difference. Anything over 300 pixels per inch is morethan good enough. Speaking of storage, it depends. You could have a 16 GB iPhone 4 and a 256 GB iPhone 8, starting the newer telephone have the square of the storage of the older one. I make do with the adapter that came withit, but it’s still an extra step you must take and you can’t use that adapter whilecharging, unless you use wireless blame where you can’t move your telephone at all orit will stop. I do have Bluetooth headphones that I usesometimes, but it’s the principle of it that’s the problem. It’s not like removing the floppy drive fromcomputers and replacing it with a CD drive, or removing the USB type A port for a USBtype C port. There’s no better alternative for the 3.5 millimeter jack. I don’t simply connect headphones, I likewise connectspeakers or a stereo system. Do I have to throw all of it out for Bluetoothstuff that does not transmit instantly, often has questions pairing and connecting, and islower quality? The only place where I use Bluetooth regularlyis in the car.Moving on, the iPhone 4 merely supports 3G, I believe this specific type of 3G is called HSPA but I may be wrong, while the iPhone8 corroborates 4G LTE which I believe is more than twice as fast if “youre living in” the rightarea, which I don’t. It should be still supported for a while, but no one knows exactly how long it will be supported for.The iPhone 4 primarily came with iOS 4 andthe iPhone 8 originally with iOS 11, and now they’re running iOS 6 and 13 respectively, so they’re both two editions ahead of their original ones. I have iOS 6 on this iPhone 4 because it’sthe last explanation with this type of design, and although the most current version ogle moremodern, I still don’t like that flat designing so much better. I’ve tried Filmic Pro, which I got on salefor free a few years ago, but I’m fine to the utilization of the included camera app and turningup the capacity in video editing. Overall, this is subjective, but I definitelythink the newer phones , not just iPhones, are much more than twice as good when youadd seven years’ value of increases. Not saying this older phone is useless. I mean, it can still do regular summons, verses, and even iMessage … But no modern application can run on it, even if you have iOS 7. They’re too fun for nostalgia purposes, becausethis iPhone 4 with this background takes me back to the summer of 2012 when I had an iPhone4S. Sadly that phone is broken now and I haven’thad the chance to restore it hitherto, but this iPhone 4 is good enough. Anyway, I know this was a pretty lame comparison, but that’s it.
